Het politieshirt van Annika
When the police came to have coffee at the Second Skin studio on Verdiplein on a workday, ROC Tilburg student Annika quickly fled into the kitchen. From her past, she has a very negative association with the police. In the conversation that followed, the policeman handed over his police shirt on the spot with a carte blanche for Annika; she was allowed to customise the shirt in the way she thought best. In the end, the entire Second Skin team collaborated and worked on the shirt. The shirt featured softer colours and a funny picture on the sleeve, making the police less intimidating and therefore easier for everyone to approach. ’Het politieshirt van Annika’ is Dutch for Annika's police shirt.
